Being married is probably the coolest feeling I’ve felt in a long time, maybe ever. It’s not necessarily being married that is cool but it’s being married to an incredible woman. She makes me want to be the man I am and I love being her husband.
It’s fun to watch her blush every time I tell her how amazing or beautiful or sexy she is. She tells me she’s not used to hearing it as much as I tell her, so I tell her that much more not only because she deserves to hear it but because I can.
Then I realize it’s not the only blessing I have in my life, God continues to open my eyes to things I had forgotten about. It happened last night…
My wife and I had dinner with family friends that I hadn’t seen in over three years. They are my second parents and they’ve been such an influence on my life and I pray they continue to have an influence on my life.
I thank God for all of the gifts He’s given me and continues to give me. I stand in awe every day…I love this feeling.
